DATU merges ancestral Philippine percussion with modern electronic production. Founded by Alex Punzalan and Romeo Candido, the project combines traditional bronze gong traditions (Kulintang, Agong) and indigenous instrumentation with IDM, polyrhythmic bass music, and immersive sound design.
