If you’ve navigated the medical system in the US, you get it. Especially if you’ve ever experienced a chronic condition or chronic pain. The system is excellent at treating acute and traumatic issues. Regarding longer-term care, chronic conditions, and prevention… not so much.

While this is extremely frustrating, it doesn’t change the fact that your body is still YOUR responsibility. You can be dealt a really awful hand of unexpected circumstances, but at the end of the day, nobody will care for your body like you should. You have to take responsibility for the variables you can control when it comes to your health. I’m not saying that is easy—it’s definitely not. But it’s essential if you wish to live a healthy life.

You do not have to do it alone. Whether it’s our programs or something else, find guidance and support. Unfortunately, the things insurance will cover are often the cheapest and quickest, not the most effective. Our programs are HSA/FSA approved, so use those funds.

One of the most common things we hear from members is that they wish they’d joined us sooner. We are often an option people seek after spending thousands on medical copays for interventions that were not effective long-term.

The insurance model is awful. I don’t know a healthcare provider who would disagree. People enter healthcare with a passion for helping people, and insurance companies stand in the way, making providers’ jobs much more challenging and complicated. The treating provider should make treatment decisions freely without jumping through heaps of paperwork and endless appeals. I feel that this system prays on the desperation and exhaustion of sick individuals… all to make a larger profit.

"Instead of calling my bathroom the John, I call it the Jim. That way I can tell people I go to the Jim every morning." - Wise Man

A diamond is made through pressure and time. Our joints also respond to the forces that are applied to them.

If our joints don't receive many forces (like sitting around all day), our joints have no reason to maintain their strength and integrity.

If our joints receive a variety of forces in all directions, they will facilitate growth and change to accomodate for these forces, thus making your joints more resilient and capable. If you do this slowly and gradually over months and years, your joints will be incredible.

Our body is simple. If you aren't using something, there is no reason for your body to expend energy to maintain that thing that you aren't using. "Use it or lose it."

What we do is teach you how to improve the mobility of every joint in your body. We also dive deep into the psychology of pain. Believe it or not, pain isn't all about movement, mobility, strength, or flexibility. It runs much deeper than that.

If you are sitting around saying stuff like, "well, it must be my age" then you seriously need to evaluate your outlook on human movement. Age definitely slows us down, but it doesn't stop us until the very end, unless you let it.

Them: “My back went out last night.” Me: “What bar did it go to?”

Need help with back pain? We made a no-cost back pain-relief series. It has massages, stretches, and strengthening exercises for your back. Get it here: www.spreadwhealth.com/free-low-back-program

Back pain is the most common reason people join our online programs. It sucks. I struggled with back pain for 2 years after my disc herniation in 2013. Back then, I had a limiting mindset, was fearful of movement, and thought I was doomed. Here I am now doing things that I was told would never be possible… and I’ve taught thousands of others to do the same. - Andrew

The last slide is a hitter. Back pain is hard. Doing the work to overcome back pain is also hard. Choose your hard.
