Hello, I’m Saya!
Since 2024, I’ve been renting about 2,000 square meters of farmland in Okayama, Japan, where I grow vegetables using the No-Dig farming method—without fertilizers, pesticides, or digging/tilling.
I usually work remotely for an IT company, but my ultimate goal is to become a farmer who can provide fresh, healthy vegetables to people. Things don’t always go as planned, and I make plenty of mistakes along the way, but I’m enjoying the journey and taking it one step at a time.
Saya Moriwaki
Originally from Okayama, Japan, I graduated from Kyushu University in Agriculture. After working in corporate sales in Tokyo, I left to pursue my farming dream. I gained hands-on experience on farms in New Zealand, then returned to Japan to start my own farm in Okayama, where I now practice No-Dig farming.
