I train Bajiquan & Baguazhang Kungfu & my own style Kangaroo 🦘 Kungfu / Roo Quan / Roo Fist 🀜
A hybrid style of my own name of which is now the art form of this style known as Dai Shu Quan Kangaroo 🦘 Kungfu. The Chinese meaning of Kangaroo 🦘🀜
Based on the physicality of the Iconic Australian animal πŸ¦˜πŸ€œπŸ‘ & My own person interpretation of how a Kangaroo moves & fights.
This style includes principles of movements from styles such as Bajiquan, Piquazhang, Baguazhang both Cheng & Yin Style, Hsing I, Zui Quan aka Drunken Fist, American Kenpo, Traditional Karate, Wing Chun so it is a true Hybrid includes also focus heavily on Body Conditioning via striking trees and my own Body like in ancient times.
I also utilise weight training and other methods.
I’m wanting to share this with other stylists of like mind. I also am developing my own Kangaroo 🦘
movement drills, Isometric drills & breathing / Chi Kung, I’m also working on forms,
jumping, swimming & art specific weight bearing exercises
