Hi, I'm Saya.
In 2024, I moved to a quiet coastal town in Okayama, Japan, where I started building a small farm on about half an acre of rented land.
I practice No Dig gardening, growing vegetables by working with nature rather than against it. Through these videos, I share my journey of building a sustainable farm and embracing a slower, more intentional way of life.
Not everything goes according to plan—there are plenty of mistakes and lessons along the way—but that's all part of the adventure.
If you enjoy gardening, nature, simple living, or dream of having a small farm someday, I hope you'll feel at home here.
About Me
After graduating with a degree in Agriculture from Kyushu University, I worked in corporate sales at an IT company in Tokyo before leaving to work on several farms in New Zealand.
Now I'm back in Japan, growing food using the No Dig method—a regenerative approach to gardening that has become increasingly popular in Europe and North America.
