I know God to be a healer! A miracle worker! A merciful, loving father! My husband is no longer on a ventilator and BARELY needing oxygen. He’s talking, alert, completely coherent, and ready to get out of that hospital! I’ve had to tell him to slow down! He’ll soon be heading to rehab to help with his recovery, but God came through, and I’m so thankful for his mercy. Thank you so much for your prayers and support! ♥️♥️♥️

It was exactly a week ago yesterday that the doctor called me and told me that the ventilator is not working, and he’d reached a point where he’d have to try ECMO. He said this is the last resort—“the kitchen sink”, he said. I’ve never felt fear like that in my life, and I begged to be able to see my husband. They finally let me come to the hospital and just sit outside his room. I talked to him as if he could hear me and told him he cannot leave me. This cannot be the end of our story. I begged God to save my husband, and I cried out to you all to storm heaven with prayers on his behalf. If you don’t believe God answers prayers...just ask me. God is a miracle worker. Today, not only is my husband NOT on ECMO, he’s in the process of weaning off of the ventilator and well on his way to recovery. I’m still praying, and I don’t take anything for granted because this isn’t over, but I am literally witnessing a miracle happen before my eyes and I could not be more grateful. We had a zoom visit yesterday, and I asked him if he knew who I was and he nodded “yes” as a tear slid down his face. Miracle.

I need prayers like never before. This is a post I never thought I’d have to write but even after being as careful as I possibly could, COVID-19, has still attacked my family. My husband is fighting for his life right now and I need every prayer warrior on the job! He’s about to be intubated and the doctors are only giving him 50% chance. But God!! My faith is wavering, and I feel guilty about that, but I’m asking y’all to stand in the gap for me right now. Please God!!

Happy Thursday, guys! I’m hopping on to tell you guys that I’ll be taking a mental health break for a while from YouTube and social media! While I’m away I’ll be focusing on getting my kiddos off to a great start this school year, and also just taking care of myself a little. I wish I could do it all, but my family needs all of my attention right now. So until I return, don’t forget to check out my fall decor series!
