Welcome to my YouTube channel. Here, I make videos reviewing various older animated series (mostly those made from 1991-2010). These are full restrospectives on them, going into their history, styles, and best/worst episodes.
I also create SpongeComs, commentary tracks for SpongeBob episodes as they turn 20 years old. They’re made to celebrate the series’ history, qualities and legacy.

NOTE: Although I make my videos for viewers of all ages, they’re generally designed to be viewed by people of age 13 and over. I talk about cartoons, but in a mature, analytical way. Additionally, while I’m in the process of finding ways to monetise my channel, I don’t own the rights to any of the cartoons featured here. They count as fair use under the way I review and analyse them. YouTube is my hobby, and I prefer to keep it as such. Have a good day.

What’s up?
A while ago, I planned to get back into making SpongeComs around this week, because it’s the one the 18th anniversary of Season 5 falls on. But I’m still nervous about producing videos for personal reasons, so I’ll let you know that it and review projects are still on hold while I sort that nervousness out. Hope you’re having a good year, and please don’t worry too much about where I am.

Update time. Very important.

The Harvey Beaks review was supposed to come out around this week. And while I’ve recorded it and started editing, it’s been difficult to keep making it. I just feel burned out, and like I need more time away from YouTube before I can make something meaningful again.

Thank you all for your patience and sorry for all the delays in recent months. As a heads up, I’ll make it clear to you right now that I’m taking a long break. Probably weeks, but it could be months.

I need some time to reflect on what I’ve accomplished, and what I haven’t accomplished, and I hope you understand. Stay safe out there.

MouseComs is now up! But unfortunately, YouTube’s blocked it in some countries because it thinks one of the cartoons featured is still under copyright. The cartoon in question: Mickey’s Choo-Choo. This train is apparently one of the most powerful characters in the Disney library.

I’ve sent an appeal, but they’re yet to come back to me, so in the meantime, I don’t mind if you use a VPN to check the video out.

Happy New Year 2025/Public Domain Day 1929!

Because at least 15 Mickey Mouse shorts are now in the public domain, MouseComs is fully on my agenda. I’ve downloaded all the shorts from the 1920s and compiled notes on each of them, so expect the commentaries for all of them to be out within a few days.
