For almost a year, I dedicated myself to creating YouTube videos and shorts, investing in a new laptop, high-speed internet that was subsequently discontinued, a website that became redundant without internet access, and three social media platforms, as well as a service designed to enhance my viewership. Despite this investment of $1500 and considerable time spent setting up a virtual stage, scripting, and editing videos, I generated zero revenue. I appreciate the support of my followers and subscribers, who were the sole positive outcome of my social media endeavor. Although I may occasionally post photos or short videos, social media is no longer a priority for me. Unfortunately, I have found that online interactions can be rude and unproductive, and I can better utilize my time engaging in crafting or reading spiritual texts.
Last weeks' Red Heart Granny Square tutorial got me behind on the 2025 Granny Temp blanket. So this square is from last week. 🌟The second pic is the pattern I am making. A back to school crochet project I am hoping to grow with! Stay tuned my crafty friends! We got 6 new subscribers to total 94 now! How exciting the growth😊. Have a great evening.✌️💚🧶🪡 #redheartyarn#2025temperatureblanket#grannysquare#aeelike#stitchievickiecreations
Working on some back to school crochet! Hope everyone ia having a great weekend! Just wanted to say in two weeks we have gained 10 new subscribers!! With 4 in the last day! I am happy you joined our journey! Have a blessed evening as I work on the next project✌️💚🧶
Happy Independence Day, everyone! 🇺🇸 For a glorious few hours, we hit 90 subscribers! I was practically planning the virtual parade. Then, like a rogue firework, my last video decided to, uh, detonate two of them. So now we're at a slightly less round, but no less awesome, 88. Oh well, you win some, you lose some (subscribers, apparently!). I'm still gonna have a fantastic July 4th, filled with BBQ, good company, and absolutely no checking my subscriber count for at least 24 hours. 😉 Hope you all have a safe and wonderful holiday! Thanks for sticking with me, even if a couple of you decided to bail for greener pastures (or maybe just quieter YouTube channels).
Week 25 of the 2025 Granny Temp square is done! Can you believe next week we will be half way through the year already!?!? 🤦🏼♀️ Oh all the projects I need to get done🥴
My 2025 Temperature Blanket: A Christmas in June disaster! Ironically, this one is Week 24... So, I was all excited, picking out the colors for my 2025 temperature blanket. Visions of a beautiful, gradient masterpiece danced in my head. What I didn't fully appreciate at the time was how often the high desert mountain swings from "I need a sweater and hot cocoa" 50°F nights to "Is this the surface of the sun?" 100°F days. The result? My blanket is currently looking less like a year of weather and more like a never-ending Christmas celebration! Think festive reds and greens, even in the dead of summer. It's certainly unique, and let's just say it's going to be very on-theme for December, no matter the actual temperature. Want to see how this unintentionally festive, year-long craft project unfolds? Will I end up with a blanket that doubles as a giant Santa suit? There's only one way to find out! Hit that subscribe button to join me on this hilarious, temperature-tied, and surprisingly Christmas-colored crochet adventure. You won't want to miss what happens next! #2025temperatureblanket#redheartyarn#grannysquarecrochet#crochetartist#pioneerwomancrochethook#stitchievickiecreations
It's Wednesday and look at this good news! We have 80 subscribers and that's so awesome! AND 25,000 views! Thank every single one of you for helping this growth! We have been busy with off grid projects all week but I will get back to crochet by the weekend. Stay tuned for the granny square turorial and the progress on the Flower Power throw. Have a wonderful evening.💚🧶🪡🧵 #redheartyarn#yarnspirations#stitchievickiecreations
It's Wednesday and that means it's time to finish week 19 of the 2025 Granny Temp Square. Once I finish, I can see how this new Redheart All in One Granny Square skein (Aran-Lily Pad) works up compared to the Black-Dove skein. What are you working on today?✌️💚🧶🧵🪡 (The skein in the picture is not used in the square shown). #redheartyarn#yarnspirations#pioneerwomancrochethook #stitchievickiecreations
