The second single from our forthcoming EP "Christ In All Things", is a potent and uptempo song written in in a season of global lockdown written by UK-based Marc James, Norwegian songwriter David André Østby and Vineyard Nordic Worship’s Maria Lundbak-Hinge.

‘Real Thing’ emerges as a powerful anthem for the Church, reaffirming the enduring reality of the Kingdom of God which is continuously flourishing.

“This song was birthed out of a longing to see the church rise from the ashes and shine bright in this world in this time again,” Marc says. Biblically, this new release from Vineyard Worship is rooted in themes of repentance, returning and refreshing as the song combines lament and hopeful joy at once. ‘Real Thing’ stands as a rallying cry for unity within the Church, written in unity.

“The reason for what we do is to build up and edify one another,” Marc emphasises.

The new single sung by Carla Harding (24/7 Prayer) is an invitation to ask ourselves some hard questions and a simultaneous source of inspiration to live uncompromisingly within God’s eternal vision for his beloved world.

‘Arms Of Love’ written by Craig Musseau was first published by Vineyard Worship in 1991 and has been rearranged and reimagined for a new generation by the Dreaming The Impossible band.

Vineyard worship leaders Jon Solway and Beth McNeil explain why ‘Arms Of Love’ is a perfect fit for young people in 2023; “This song, while it may be a blast from the past, has a unique way of drawing us into deep intimacy with Jesus, reminding us that God extends loving arms towards us, where we can rest secure in the love of Jesus and trust that He is in control.

We hope that, in recording this song, many of the Dreaming The Impossible generation will be able to grasp the Father’s love for them, the peace that He gives, and the intimacy that is available to us, through Jesus.”

Our new single ‘Jesus, Worthy Of Our Worship’ is out now! Recorded live at Dreaming The Impossible, a festival for young people from churches everywhere which grew to 4,000 this summer.

Vineyard worship leaders and songwriters Jon Solway and Beth McNeil explain the heart behind the song; “It was really on our hearts to write a song that was simply, completely and utterly focussed on Jesus. While there are times for other songs, our primary goal is to worship Jesus and nothing more. This song is special to us, because it does precisely that - it elevates Jesus, the worthy one, for all that He is and all that He’s done, and it echoes the song of Heaven that is and will always be singing ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.’”
