It’s been nearly two years since Russia invaded Ukraine. And it’s been over a year since I visited Ukraine and published a series of videos on this channel.
Since then I haven’t spoken much about the topic. But that doesn’t mean the sights I witnessed, and the bravery of Ukrainians and foreign volunteers, doesn’t come to my mind each day.
Unfortunately, in the modern internet climate, it seems that everyone is getting upset about something new every 3 seconds. We pick issues to be outraged about like we’re trying on new pairs of shoes. We find one we like and then wear it for a while. Then when the season changes, we throw it away and find a new pair.
Fortunately, in the real world, there are people who truly care about making a difference. There are people who risk their lives each day to fight for freedom. It’s a long fight, and it’s a fight that continues when the world is watching and when the world is not.
But to all those who fight it, I salute you 🌍
