NATIONAL DAY OF THE ITALIAN IMMIGRANT IN BRAZIL! 🇮🇹🇧🇷

Comrades! Today, February 21st, we celebrate the National Day of the Italian Immigrant in Brazil, a tribute to the indomitable spirit of those who crossed the ocean, faced insurmountable challenges, and with hard work, honor, and determination, helped shape Brazil with the greatness of Italy!

It was not the weak who came, but the strong! Not the cowards, but the brave! Men and women who, through sweat and sacrifice, built a legacy that still stands tall today, for in the blood of their descendants flows the strength of eternal Rome!

If you are of Italian descent, stand up and honor your ancestors! Without them, Brazil wouldn’t have pizza, lasagna, pasta, gnocchi, risotto, focaccia, or the glorious wine! Imagine a world without the influence of this magnificent nation—it would be unthinkable!

And let it be known to all: Brazil has the second-largest Italian diaspora in the world, with over 30 million people of Italian descent! A testament to the strength and influence of those who left their homeland but never abandoned their identity.

Let everyone in this server recognize the value of this great journey! Italy is not just a land, it is a destiny! And its children, wherever they may be, shall never abandon their glorious heritage!

VIVA ITALY! LONG LIVE THE IMMIGRANTS! AVANTI! 🇮🇹🔥

What good deeds did this man do during his rule?!?!?

- HE pacified and reconciled Italy after the chaos of the insurgent communists and socialists that after WW1 wanted to bring the Revolution in Italy.

- HIS MOVEMENT grew up as a reaction to that situation... Even Churchill had to say that THIS MAN was a great man, and the right man for Italy.

- He reconciled the State with the Church signing the Concordato and the Church said that he was the Man of Providence. So also the Catholic people found a reason to like HIM.

- He fought with success the mafia in Sicily sending there the Prefetto (State Representative with power ) Mori .

- He reclaimed the Pontina Marsh and there he built new towns : Littoria (now Latina) , Sabaudia , Pomezia , Aprilia , Pontinia e Guidonia.

- The farmers who moved to these new towns did not spend a penny , they received a house and a piece of land. HE wanted to grow agriculture in Italy and make the country self sufficient. Then new villages were build almost in every italian region with the same formula.

- HE saved the italian industry after the crisis of 1929 with the creation of IRI that lasted until few years ago.

- HE gave impulse to the italian aviation that became maybe the most advanced in the world under the guide of Italo Balbo ( see his transoceanic flight).

- HE gave a great drive to all sports , permitting all young people to do sport .

- HE reclaimed land for Italy, like the Pontine Marshes, which was drained and reclaimed from Rome. With this land he created more railroads, sports stadiums, schools, and bridges. This was thought to be a solution for unemployment.

- HE made farmers concentrate more on farming specific crops. In the long run this made Italy a little more self-sufficient.

- In 1930 HE gave industries more money for steel and iron production, while also increasing the use of hydro-electric power.

- For education, many universities were watched very closely, This was to make sure that no subversives would be able to infiltrate education, and try to manipulate the minds of the youth
