Zandoka
ZANDOKA is the alter ego of drummer/producer Mike Ronday
Born the son of a Dutch Jazz bassist, he grew up in Amsterdam.
He started producing after two decades of playing drums in various jazz, funk, and disco formations.
in 2010 he established Chique Records, a fair-share record company.
Successful releases from Farida Merville , EGO, and Helsdinski / Jeroen van Helsdingen Project can be found on I-Tunes and Spotify. Since late 2014 Zandoka has been laryngectomized.
Zandoka is a founding member of several studio projects such as 'ClubMeisterz' & " Mowz' Kitchen "
In 2014 he released his first solo single, a remix of a traditional Cuban son tune by the Dutch salsa formation 'Septeto Trio Los Dos'. 'Hijo de la Rumba', this release eventually featured in Ubisoft's Far Cry 6.
Besides being a producer Zandoka is a founding member and drummer/programmer of "NOD NOW! " -
a smooth urban jazz-funk formation from The Netherlands.
