Motorhome Mums
Motorhome Mums is the creation of two retired menopausal women. Following our retirement in March 2022 we gave up conventional living for a life on the road with our two dogs. We were completely new to YouTube when we set off travelling, so as well as learning lots of tips tips for motorhome enthusiasts we have been learning the nuances of YouTube, filming and editing.
In 2024 we had some significant events; we lost one of our dogs, Archie, who sadly passed away on his 14th birthday, we appeared on the BBC's Escape to the Country and moved into our dream home in the Scottish Highlands.
Our lifestyle and consequently Youtube content has morphed from vanlife to Highland life, although there will still be motorhome travel content, when we get back on the road, this time for travel breaks rather than full time.
Watch to see our ups and downs, the huge adjustment we have made and how we get on living back in a house.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to say thank you for all your lovely comments we received after losing our beautiful brave boy Archie. We have been truly overwhelmed by the love you have all shown and it makes us realise what a lovely community we have the privilege of being part of. You have helped us enormously. We took great comfort from the kindness that you have shown. We are all doing ok and whilst Fudge had a few days where she seemed out of sorts, she is doing well and I think secretly enjoying the extra attention she's getting. We still miss Archie terribly and he will always be with us in our hearts, but spending time in nature with our loyal little girl has been helping. We had a fantastic weekend at Vanlife Festival so I wanted to share that with you all soon after the event rather than a week or two later. It' a full on editing day today trying to get the video for the Great North Run finished so I can upload later this evening as close to the event as possible. In the meantime a couple of shots, before and after. So very proud of Sue. She completed the race in 1 hour 48 minutes, a fabulous time for a top lady. Get ready for the video, all being well, later today. Make sure you're subscribed, so you don't miss it. I will try to give the BBC a run for their money... hee, hee....
