Update on Let's Plays:
Werewolf ends around this time next week, but there really hasn't been a good recording time for Mel and I to get together for more Hunter. Sooo I'm gonna pull another series out of the "Let's Try" bin from a year ago and make it into a full fledged Let's Play.
Good thing too, I've not been getting the TTRPG kick I'm use to as of late.

Little update:
I'm still recovering from sick and Mel's gonna be busy these next two weeks to record more Hunter after the 7th. So I'm gonna record a liiiittle bit of a filler LP till she's not as occupied.
It's still gonna be World of Darkness related! But not Vampire the Masquerade. More werewolf.
And maybe bad from what I've read on the net.

Hopefully final news on the job front (at least till the holiday season is over). I've found gainful employment that hasn't seemed to ghost me just YET, and I go in for orientation tomorrow. After that I should get proper scheduled, hopefully. To that end, I'm doing one final "push" of the incentives list, at least till I see how many hours they're gonna give me for the rest of September (so for about another week). And due to the fact the next games on said list are massive RPGs and I'm currently playing several of those, I'll wave the "One long ass RPG" rule should we make it to Rogue Galaxy by the time I know where I stand with this job.

UPDATE: A second job has called me back and I'm gonna see about keeping and juggling them both. Here is hoping that one of them ends up long term after the holidays.

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: Second job's shift would be the *exact* same as the first job's shift. Pay would be more, it's closer and the Kool-Aid they serve would be used more often, but the weekly hours could be 4-24 vs first job's basically guaranteed 12 hours a week. I legit hate being given choices like this.

Thank you all again and sorry about the roller coaster that has been my employment status. My friends and roommates have joked before how I have had the worst luck when it comes to jobs, but these last few jobs I was *supposed* to start working at within the last 30 days has been a real morale assassin. All your support, weather it's tips, donations or just watching the channel has been a massive help and will continue to be a huge part of the whole "Earning a living" thing. And I soon hope to be able to put more of me into the channel again, just minus the anxiety of living with moths in my wallet.

You might all be wondering too, "Darius, you loved the HELL out of Hollow Knight! Your favorite game to come out of 2017! Are you gonna record Silksong!?"
Short answer: No.
Long answer: No because it's just not in the budget. Hell of a thing to say, seeing as it's a 20$ game. Trust me, I'm itching to play it and it's gonna be a PAIN to avoid spoilers till I can, but I have to be responsible with my money. Shocking notion, I know. On top of that, I think that when I DO get it, I wanna playthrough it myself first. I love playing games for the channel, but I've not played a game for "Me" in forever.

Also, I've decided to edit the insentives from the last posting to just go up to 700 for now. I was pretty negative, thinking I wouldn't make it through till the end of the year but I really do think I've got something coming my way and just need one more month.

I've made an executive decision with the incentives list.
Originally, the "Holy Avatar vs the Maidens of the Dead" was at my 350 point. And it's.... uh... it's not good? It's a parody game, third in a series and it's comedy could be funny. Buuuut it does not play well. I was thinking of playing it on Easy to burn through the 6 hour (estimation by HLTB) but... yeah nah.
So instead, I'm gonna play UnEpic. It's longer and more of a Metroidvania, but it's from the same dev as Ghost 1.0 and I had a good time with that plus from what I have played it's pretty fun. Been meaning to get into it but between stuff I was already recording and job hunting, Just didn't find the time.
I do remember getting a LITTLE stuck so I might bust out the strategy guide at some points, regardless.

Thanks to everyone that poked in and watched the stream! I've got a couple things to announce real quick.
1) Youtube does NOT like videos/streams more than 12 hours long. Because of this, the VOD currently up on youtube is only 12 hours long and is missing the last hour of the stream. I'll be downloading the Twitch VOD and rendering it out into shorter videos, probably 1 hour long ones with its own playlist for easy watching/rendering/uploading. So sorry in advance for the massive video dump!
2) I've altered the incentives list some. Where Darkest Dungeon was, Rogue Galaxy is and visa versa. Thanks to RedGrys for reminding me how cool Rouge Galaxy AND their generosity once more! I've put the incentive list below for anyone that wants to take a peak at it, and I'll make this the post I update about how far we've come along it. It's see if we can't push it to at least Rogue Galaxy by the end of September!

Looks like the poll is in overwhelming favor of Terraria of the Wild! I'll probably do Baldur's Gate 3 another day still but for now, I'll focus my concerns on Sunday. I'll start basically an hour after I wake up and eat something.

My birthday is on the 2nd of September, however, I think the roommates and local friends are planning to abscond with me somewhere then. And I'd like to do something relatively special for my birthday: Do something to hate myself a little more.
On Sunday, August 31st, I'll be doing a stream. A bigger stream. But what I'll be doing on that stream will be for you nerds to decide.
I've got two ideas.
1) Terraria: Breath of the Wild. Classic difficulty (Don't hate myself THAT much). The idea is that the world will be modded so all bosses are beaten, except for Moon Lord. I, however, start as though it's a casual new game. I will need to build myself up from scratch to face and beat Moon Lord. And I'll be doing so in one stream and won't end till the Moon Lord is dead (Max of, like, 12 hours. A dude's gotta sleep). This is a relatively big deal cause I've not played Terraria all the way through since my streams of it 5 years ago. As far as I know, it's basically a whole other game at this point.
2) 12 Hour Baldur's Gate III. Modded (Some cosmetic mods and a Feat Every 2 Levels mod). For anyone that's not been around for a while, I have a BIT of a Hate/Hate relationship with Baldur's Gate 3. I've beaten it in my own free time, but there was always something about the game that drove me nuts. Most of it, honestly, comes from the 5e Rules or some of the mechanics of the game itself (Like not finding a trap until DIRECTLY on top of it.) But I will try to push that all aside and play once more, but hopefully I'll be playing a character I've had in my back pocket that will utilize mechanics and develop relationships with the characters that most my other usual characters in TTRPGs would not.

So yeah. Terraria playthrough or 12 hours Baldur's Gate 3. There is a poll.
