Pointed Mutation is a technical death metal band from Iran, which is formed in 2019 by Ali Zakeri (Songwriting, Guitars). After joining Sina Ghadimipour (Drums), Saleh Rezaei (Vocals), and Ali Darani (Bass), Pointed Mutation made its first appearance in Jul 2019 by releasing a single track named "Implosion". Pointed Mutation tries to combine technical aspects of extreme music and mostly groove elements under the best possible production. "Engineering the Unhuman" is the debut EP album of the band which was released in May 2020. In 2021 Hamid Tehrani joined as a new Bass Player. Pointed Mutation is going to release a new full-length album in the near future and Missense Evolution is the first single track of this album.
