Had this hawk watching us when we were taking a walk. Me and the dogs. Having trouble identifying it, either red shoulder or harrier. Anyone? Pretty decent view if u zoom in.
This is the time of year I kind of get down in the dumps. 1500 miles from home away from everyone dear to me. No Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner while I watch the get togethers of my friends and family on social media. And if I'm being honest I can't even afford a real meal for the holiday....just thinking about Thanksgiving in a few days knowing I'll be alone and unable to enjoy some homecooking is rather depressing. Just hope the days pass quickly and Jan 1 comes fast. Yall please appreciate your family.
I don't use Facebook, Instagram, tiktok, snapchat...none of that crap. I don't even use popular shopping sites like temu. I do NOT want cheap Chinese crap in my house and it's crazy to me that ppl that cry about climate change have no problem ordering JUNK from these sites. You are the problem you cry about. And I'm this close from removing YouTube because it has changed dramatically. It's becoming quite boring with all the restrictions. Used to be able to be entertained or educated for hrs now they've tied creators hands so tightly they all create the same content. X (TWITTER) is really the only place anymore to have intriguing conversations.
Yall send positive thoughts to us down here in Florida. Prayers appreciated and needed IMO. I don't want to see any catastrophic storms this year and the path its headed now its heading towards an area that isn't even recovered from Ian. Here in Pensacola Im doing my best to prepare just in case it heads this way. Hoping for the best.
