Kuala Lumpur-based indie-pop band, TY:DEL (Ritchie Retita, Timothy Long, Carlson Kam and Roshan Sundram), are the new names progressing into the modern music scene. Blending styles from individual members, TY:DEL’s music is a gorgeous blend of ambient synths, jazz-inspired guitar tones, soulful vocals, and airy beats, all tied together by the essence of passion the band has for their craft. Their playful aura and passion for the art of music is conveyed through their charisma and charm on stage.
Inspired by the likes of LANY, The 1975, and HONNE, the band started off as a performing group, hustling through the city in search of gigs and performances - their humble beginnings and their hard work have quickly turned the band into a local treat in their nation’s music scene.
The music project started in 2015 - the band would perform for local indie showcases at nearby colleges and youth festivals in Malaysia. TY:DEL is set to release their debut ep in the first-quarter of 2021.
