Btw this one will be a bit on the longer side, so the video is still going to take a LITTLE while to finish up. Hello Melty Solid Nation!! It's been a while lol. Today marks the two year anniversary of my last video, Reviewing Every Ado Song in 10 Words or Less. I've talked about it before in other community posts, but things have been kind of all over the place for me over the last few years. I've been working on things for just about the whole time I've been gone, but I haven't been able to get any projects finished.

AT LEAST UNTIL NOW. It's been hard getting back into the swing of things, but I'm finally, FOR REAL THIS TIME, going to be back to making videos SOON. I have a completely edited short ready to go, and a finished first draft of a full video that I'm currently in the process of revising. I know in the past I've overpromised or announced things prematurely, but finally I feel like I'm in a place to confidently say I'll have content out SOON. I can't guarantee a specific timeframe at the moment, but if things go well, I could be looking at the video going up sometime before the end of the month? At least a hope so. We'll see.

Also I'd like to once again thank the incredible EerieElixir for helping bring my lil guy to life once again! I commissioned more art from Eerie not too long ago, and I love how it turned out. Anyways, thank you all for being so patient with me over the course of my accidental hiatus. Happy Kagerou Project Day everyone!! (channel update below)

I'm so sorry for the radio silence on my end for the last year or so. Things have just been pretty crazy for me for a little while, and at some point this channel and my creative spark got lost in the shuffle as my life began changing really quickly. I've been doing alright, but it's been a process, I guess. That's just growing up for you though.

Anyway, I've teased and promised a lot of videos and projects during my accidental hiatus over the last year, with one of the most notable being a video about the Kagerou Project that I wanted to release on August 15th of last year. Unfortunately, it never ended up panning out completely, even to this day. I had gotten about 75% of the script completed or so, but eventually became unhappy with the format I had chosen. I've worked on retooling it into a handful different scripts on and off for the last year, but I've just never been able to finish them. The same goes for a lot of other scripts I started about other topics. I'd still love to talk about the Kagerou Project in a video someday, but I'm not sure if or when that might happen.

I've struggled with burnout and have put a lot of pressure on myself for my work be "perfect," but of course standards that high for myself are completely unreasonable and it has led me to hitting a wall creatively for the last year. I'm not sure when I'll be back to making videos or what they'll look like in all honestly, but I haven't given up on Melty Solid.

I'd also like to thank all of you for supporting me, even with my absence for the last year. Even without uploading in so long, this channel has passed 4K subscribers and still consistently receives a bunch of really nice comments to this day. I appreciate you all so much and I'm grateful everyday for the kindness and and support I've been shown for so long online.

I can't promise anything as far as content goes in the near future, but whatever happens happens, I suppose. I'll keep trying, and I'm hope someday I'll have something fun to share with you all. Until then, thanks again for everything so far. I'm looking forward to the future, even if I'm not quite sure what it will end up looking like.

UPDATE: The Kagerou Project video I am currently working on didn't end up being ready in time for the 15th, so I'm going to need to push it back a little more. I'm still hard at work on the video, and if all goes well, it should be ready before the end of the month. Thank you all again for your patience and support! How has it already been a year?? Thank you all for making The Meteoric Rise of Ado one of my biggest videos of the last year!! When I first released it on this day a year ago, I never would've imagined the amount attention and of positive reception it would end up getting.

It feels both like it was just yesterday and an entire lifetime ago that I was working on this video. It's pretty crazy to think my phone didn't explode while I was editing an entire 30 minute video on it, but I'm still not over how I spent my entire day trying and failing to export the project countless times because of a jpeg of Up on blu ray.

It's been a crazy year since then, and I'm so grateful for everyone that has stuck with me since this video came out. I feel like I've grown so much since then, and looking back on it just motivates me to do even better in the future. Thank you all so much for supporting me!!
