Hello dear Scene Walker, i just wanted to write you my New Year's letter.

- - General - -
In Finland we are entering the second half of winter (November - January / February - April).
Looking back now, temperatures are consistently warmer than years ago, there were days with heavy snowfall, but these were always followed by melting days.
For someone like me, who just wants to film winter with its heavenly snowy cities and landscapes, this can be a bit frustrating.
I'm sure anyone who has a hobby or job that involves certain weather conditions knows exactly what that feels like.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that February will have better winter days, it really makes me so excited and happy to take you for a walk.
Finland is a huge country and there is still so much to discover, my bucket list of locations is evolving into a "Big Muskie list", i try to film when my free time allows.

- - Growth - -
The channel recently celebrated its 4th anniversary.
In those 4 years we have welcomed more than 30,000 Scene Walkers, real people, like you and me.
Believe me, i am so proud (of myself) and happy to see so many people enjoying and keeping me company all this time.
For those who have been following the channel since the beginning, you will know what a long road we have come so far.
I will continue to improve my skills as best as i can.

- - 2025 - -
The year 2025 has begun, with spring and summer on the horizon.
The sunlight returns to the land of darkness and with it the crowds of people. During these months the channel follows a slower upload schedule, as i believe winter is the most exciting time of the year.
As in previous years, i will try to visit my family in Belgium again this summer, so expect some walking scenes from that.

- - Support - -
You know how it goes with these things, you've heard or read about it many times, creators asking for your support.
There is no escaping the fact that community support is truly vital and part of thriving for just about anything in life.
Content creators decide to combine their time with a regular day job and also work on growing something to be proud of.
It's easy to embark on the journey of becoming a content creator, but it's hard to break through the many barriers along the way.
I guess what i'm trying to say is that your support does make a difference, it's one of the positive aspects of the internet, which has the ability to change people's lives for the better.

That being said, i will end my little message here.
If you made it this far, thank you for your time and understanding.
Thank you for being here, i love you all and i will see you in the next scene.

Just wanted to let you know that there won't be a video coming out this week.
I am currently on my working holiday and visiting my family.
I plan to film here too, but unfortunately the weather is not what i had hoped for, rain showers almost daily, with very little to no sunshine.
I'm still trying to enjoy my time here and when the sun shows up i'll try to film here and there.
I hope to have the next video up sometime in the next few weeks.

Hey Scene Walker, i hope you're doing well.
Unfortunately, winter in Southern Finland is once again coming to an end, and with it the snowy winter walks.

A summary of the winter of 23'/24':
In total we were able to step inside 16 NEW scenes, totaling well over 23 hours of icy cold walks.
These 16 scenes include a total of 23 single walks, 18 of which are filmed at night and 5 during the day, spread across 12 different cities in Finland.

If i give my personal opinion about it, i can say that i am satisfied with the "result".
Of course there were many more beautiful days that i wish i had time to film, but such is life.
The scenes i wasn't able to film are on my to-do list for the upcoming winter season.

It feels like we rang in the new year yesterday, but March is already half over.
I'm (slowly) starting to look forward to filming new Spring walks, of which i'll be uploading some unreleased scenes from previous seasons.

PS: Just like last year, another visit to the family home base will take place this summer, expect possible new scenes outside Finland.

Hello dear Scene Walkers,
The holiday season is quickly approaching and winter is off to a strong start.
However, as expected, warm air will move in from this weekend and could last through the rest of December.
With this in mind, i had been trying to film as much as possible in my spare time, so i didn't have time to prepare a new walk on YouTube for this Friday (15/12).
Instead, i will publish a compilation of snow walks filmed over the past two winters.
I will try to finish the new walks as quickly as possible.
