Sinaloan Danny Felix is a songwriter, recording artist, producer, and creator of the new popular style of Mexican music trap corridos (or “Corridos Tumbados”), a method that incorporates hip-hop elements into the traditional corrido stylings. He is considered to be one of the best guitarists in regional music. Felix was the first Mexican music guitarist to record and produce a collaboration of cultures with Puerto Rican singer and rapper Bad Bunny for the remix of the song “Soy el Diablo” ft Natanael Cano, managing to create an “urban regional” sound that appealed to a younger generation of regional Mexican fans. Though Danny Felix began playing at a young age, he established himself as a producer of top shelf artists including Bad Bunny, Xavi, Natanael Cano, Karol G and many more.
