If you're reading this, Youngest Rapper V4 Legacy has released. It's been a very very long time since the last update, so I decided that it would be better to upload a build.
What's with the Legacy label?
The vision of Youngest Rapper has been, and always will be friends making stuff for fun. But back then, there may have not been too much attention put into what I was even adding to the mod. Some of them were rushed, some were literally not made for the mod. Alot of regrettable decisions were made years ago of which, I'm glad I made but it was also a huge cause of the mod not progressing for years. But hey, I couldn't possibly have expected the mod to go viral now could I? If you've been paying attention to the post so far, I am done with this version of the mod. That does not mean the mod is cancelled, not even close, but it means that this mod will go on a HUGE remake on every part. Sprites, Songs, ESPECIALLY songs, so on. Since the mod is completely different now, I have decided that it would be better to leave this page as more of an "archive", as I don't feel it's right to put all the older versions next to this new, upcoming version.
The heck have you been doing this whole time???
For the last two years, we invited like 5 more developers (directionless), added 5 more songs and the project stopped BIG time there. But I did talk about the whole "Reboot" thing above. What the heck is that about? If you've been subscribed to this channel (or have been following my twitter account), you might remember the Ambiguity and Scam teasers! Aside of that, I've also completely rearranged the dev team, kicking those who weren't needed, inviting new ones who've proven to be very good at this, and the development have been going smoothly so far.
This project has been alot for me, as I've never expected this amount of fans and support to a dumb PNG mod I made with no real goal. I love you guys. Quite possibly, you made me truly fulfill my goal as an artist and gave me real chance to grow. There may be people who still go "YOUNGEST RAPPER WHEN???" and stuff, but it's people like you that took me to where I am now. This project is very personal to me, stupid or not. And I'm glad it got to shine the way it did. I hope you enjoy what we had, and I hope you're looking forward to where Youngest Rapper is heading now, or any other projects!
Oh yeah Thank you all for getting this silly channel where barely anything gets uploaded on aside of a few vibrations on the air meant for your ears to 2000 subs, I cannot do something for the occasion but do expect some more variations on content!
