Ya know, at first, i was little bit skeptical of Ralph Bakshi, i didn't really like Fritz the Cat, but then i decided to watch Wizards.

And MAN! this movie is a blast! might rewatch it one day, I really like the surreal style of this movie as well as all the creepy imagery and such!

Animation from the 70s in general had such a weird but cool vibe! Kind of a shame there aren't any modern reinterpretations of this time period aside from maybe smiling friends with the character Mip.

(Tho that might change tho, considering the golden age style, the rubberhose style, and even UPA had their comebacks, so there's probably a chance the same will happen with the messier style of the 70s! Heck, i might even do it myself!)

Also, i should probably check out more of Ralph Bakshi's stuff, the only other stuff that i've seen from him besides this movie and Fritz the Cat was The 1987 mighty mouse reboot.

I think his work is really cool, and you folks should totally watch it, if not to enjoy them, at least to have them as "neat history lessons" and have more unique perspective on the medium of animation!

Welp, i "finished" the animation! i drew 145 frames today and in total, this animation has 548 unique frames, all that is left is for Shae and nick to record their lines and then i can hopefully start editing the episode, wish me good luck folks!

Welp, i drew all 27 pages of the storyboards! Tomorrow, i'll hopefully draw the backgrounds and record the voices, and when the time is right, i'll start animating!

Keep in mind, i'm back to school, so i may not have a lot of freetime to animate (Tho thankfully, i have classes early in the morning so i'll be able to do a decent ammount of stuff!)

expect gaps between episodes to get bigger and bigger! Anyways, i've made a lot of changes to the plot when it comes to this episode, but the core remains almost the same as the original "Meet the Bear Gang" episode, and just like what i said last post, this will be my final "remake/re-imagining" episode.

"Episode 1B of season 4 has a regular, non anthropomorphic cat, but there's also an episode in standard spongebob where a cat character is anthropomorphic! Why isn't this consistent? MY IMMERSION IS RUINED!"

No but fr tho, it is kind of hilarious how there's just a random cat here, guess they thought it was funnier than having a snail be there instead!
