The Disabled Avant-Garde is a unique collaboration by two artists, Katherine Araniello and Aaron Williamson. Their video works and paintings to date pay homage to the artists' unexpected 'influences' from Busby Berkeley to Leigh Bowery, whilst furthering their somewhat cavalier grasp on the concept of avant-gardeism . The Disabled Avant-Garde have also recently done a performance work entitled Assisted Passage at Birkbeck College which took the form of a satirical public protest against the budget airlines.
