I'm Zach, a hobby overlander who also happens to be an engineer. I’ve always found that videos provide a much more efficient and entertaining way to learn any subject, so I’m teaching myself about video production so you can learn from my mistakes (and successes too)!
I’ve created a youtube channel to share some overlanding trips and projects (especially DIY designs); novel tech (in a variety of forms), and other general insights. Please reach out if you have any questions for me. (There are people more knowledgeable than myself in many forums, but I like to think I know a thing or two.)

Well, after months of leg work, we made it. I set out to put a poster together that would capture these years of building out my 4Runner and being inspired by others. I wanted to get all the 4Runner people together that really share a passion for 4Runners and have helped build this social media community. I also wanted something artistic and enjoyable to look at for the years to come if Instagram evolves into something completely different.
45 Different 4Runner builds. With the help of @petrolhead_factory illustration services and @calrunr who became my partner on this and final poster artist, this idea really came to fruition into something to really behold.
They are now live to order so go check them out! Some proceeds will be donated to the Blue Ribbon Coalition as well to support trails and prevent closures.

So…big announcement! In light of most probably needing a regear…I’ve partnered up with @premierwestgears to do a huge group buy! There is no ceiling for signups. These prices are ridiculous cheap and these guys have been doing regears 20+ years. I challenge you to get a quote for this stuff to compare. The DIY option here is what I’m most stoked about. Third members are actually reasonable to ship in a wooden box so you can have these shipped to your favorite mechanic or garage and install them without paying a specialty shop!
