Meet Egypt, owner and operator of Dragonfly Downs Farm. Egypt has studied sustainable farming systems on five continents, holds a Permaculture Design Certificate, and has extensive experience running both urban and rural farms. She is a food preservation master and an avid forager. Every year she fills her family’s pantry with a wide array of canned, dehydrated, frozen, and fermented goods. Egypt is passionate about sharing the skills she's gained with others as the owner/operator of Dragonfly Downs Farm, a family farm and skills center in Grand Ledge, MI.

Dragonfly Downs Farm is an 8.6 acre homestead focusing on native plant agriculture. We work in the intersection between ecological restoration and sustainable agriculture. As an educational center, we offer classes, farm tours, and outreach events for both youth and adults.
