Oh, hey there! In case you missed it (or, ya know, YouTube didn't alert you), there's a new video out!

Alongside that, I've also been working on getting the art assets for the channel updated, including a brand new logo! Super happy with how it turned out, especially considering the old one was just something I threw together as filler and it lasted for years on accident. It was designed by Mike DeBisco AKA the designer for the Firaga Records logo (if you collect video game vinyl like I do, you might be familiar with the name) Let me know what ya think!

Oh, hey there! Wow, absolutely wild State of Play, huh? Anyone else notice that the Castlevania logo used for the 40th Anniversary is the "new" one where as the new game uses the old logo? Pretty neat!

Anyway, new Castlevania is something I was absolutely NOT expecting, but boy oh boy do I have some opinions! Its probably gonna be a couple of weeks before I can do a video on this new Castlevania (I'm thinking something unscripted?) cause I JUST recorded a new video 3 days ago and am in the midst of editing it. That being said, let me know what you all thought of the new Castlevania or any other announcements! I'll join ya in the comments with some of my overall feelings.

But yeah, should have a new video unrelated to the State of Play in like a week or two, so hope ya look forward to it!

Oh, hey there! First and foremost, just wanted to say Happy New Year to everybody, and thank you all again for the continued support of watching and sharing my videos. I feel like it's so cliche to say "it means a lot," but it really DOES mean a lot, so I hope ya'll know that I do truly appreciate ya!

I'm in the process of scripting out some new videos, so I'm hoping to get one shot and edited within the next couple of weeks. I'm also working on a couple of smaller channel revamp updates. Currently in the process of looking for some artists (might have found one so far!) to make a new logo for the channel, as the current one was just something quick I threw together real fast years ago and it just sort of... stuck. Secondly, looking to finally create a new (and better) end screen for my videos (and potentially the talking head parts), so hey if there's anyone out there that's well versed in things like Adobe After Effects or 3D Modelers like Maya, feel free to reach out!

Anyway, I know it's dumb to apologize for not posting videos (or community updates) more frequently, but regardless, I do apologize for not getting more content out quicker. It hasn't changed my goals for the channel though, and I'm excited to enter 2026 and hopefully, at the very least, get more videos out than I did in 2025! I'll be posting more updates in regards to the new artwork for the channel once I have some proper updates to post! As always, thank you all for the support, and I hope your 2026 has started off with a (good) bang!

Oh, hey there! I've got TWO announcements for ya! First, as per usual, in case YouTube decided to not show you, I've got a very October themed video out, talking about yet another Castlevania game (Lament of Innocence!) and joined by a fellow YouTuber (and I made a guest appearance in his video as well!) So if ya haven't seen it, feel free to give it a watch~

SECONDLY, I'll be at Portland Retro Game Expo this weekend! I won't be working it this year, instead just going there to hang and hopefully snag some cool games, so if you're in attendance and happen to see me, feel free to say hi!

Oh, hey there! I'm here to share some updates! First and foremost, the attached picture is from my NEW VIDEO that I will hopefully be releasing hopefully in the next week or two. I know it's been a bit, but I'm super happy with this video and I ALSO think it it'll answer some of the questions that I've received from you all at various times. I'd tell you the name of the video, but it will sort of spoil the whole premise, so hopefully you don't mind waitin' until its out.

Secondly, just wanted to all let everyone know that I'll be at PAX West 2025 at the end of this week, so if you happen to be attending, there's definitely a chance you might see me!

Lastly, I'm also in the process of working on my next Castlevania video, which I'll be putting out in October. This one is gonna be a little special compared to the rest, so I hope you all are lookin' forward to it.

Oh, hey there! I'm curious if you all have any interest in me opening up the "My Community" thing on here? If you're unsure of what that is, basically it's a new mobile only feature where YOU ALL can like, post here on the community tab as well, as opposed to just me. Basically, it opens the floor for anyone to ask questions or chat or whatever. That being said, I'm not really sure if I'm even "big enough" to warrant turning it on in the first place, but that's why I wanted to reach out and see what you all thought!

Oh, hey there! As per usual, in case YouTube decided to not show you, I've got a new video out! I already know that, when I cover topics that aren't about one specific game, and instead, something more nuanced and broad, that they don't really get pushed as hard, but regardless I'm really happy with how this video turned out.

Videos covering broader topics like this one let me be a little more "me," which I personally think is the most interesting thing about making stuff for YouTube. So yeah, I had a lot of fun making this one and even getting to off an unreleased game, so hopefully you enjoy it!
