Channel and New Year's Update 🥂

Hey everybody. We want to bring you an important update on things here. Firstly, make sure to check out the 2025 Pop Culture Character Squid Game over on 1upBinge. It's a good way to bring in 2026.

We just wanted to update our audience on the status of the channel. As you may know, we were demonetized on YouTube a couple weeks. This has been quite the sucker-punch for us. Unfortunately, our appeal was rejected, and we will have the opportunity to re-apply to the Partner Program in 90 days. (March 15th).

This has been quite disappointing.

YouTube's demonetization has impacted a LOT of creators. Especially lately. It's not just that the automated system seems to be very hitting a lot of channels incorrectly, but the lack of communication, answers and transparency from YouTube when these things happen is quite frustrating to say the least. In our case, when we finally got in touch with a YouTube rep to look at our case, we were given a very vague boilerplate response as to how to re-apply in 90 days. When we asked what specific things we can do, or change, or adjust to help get into compliance, we were told: "Please know that we cannot provide certain information in regards to the specific aspects on the channel".

To be clear, we love YouTube. And we genuinely believe YouTube, as a company, is filled with talented, good team members who care about creators. But it's sort of crazy to us that YouTube's policy team can't reveal the issues to us so that we can make the proper adjustments for compliance. Especially after telling us "we understand that you may have unintentionally made mistakes. That's why you'll be able to re-apply for the YouTube Partner Program in 90 days." You would think the goal would be to help us. I know we are not Mr. Beast in size, but we've worked successfully with YouTube for 7-8 years without any issues, and this relationship has been profitable for both parties. So it's a real bummer that we can't get any support on this.

With all that said, we don't want to bring you all into 2026 on a sad note. Admittedly, we'll be very slow on WickedBinge uploads until we get this resolved. We do feel optimistic about our re-application in March though, so hoping to ramp things back up then. That said, you'll likely see more uploads on 1upBinge and PokeBinge in that time.

Again, we don't want to bum anybody out. We may ask our audience to bring attention to this in the future, but in the meantime, we want everybody to have a happy, fun and safe New Year. Thank you all. 🥂

📢 We really need your HELP! 📢

Hey everybody, Kyle here. I have some very unfortunate news today. As many of you may have heard lately, many creators have been demonetized by YouTube due to misclassifications with their automatic system. Well, today, we got nailed and have lost our channel's monetization due to "Harmful Content Involving Minors"... Despite the fact that we have never feature real life children.

We would really appreciate your help with getting us an actual manual review. If you would please follow our link here to X/Twitter and like, repost/retweet to help us alert YouTube. YouTube Support's X/Twitter account is often the best way to get into contact with YouTube, so this will really help us.

We have just submitted our appeal, but would really like to make sure this is seen and resolved. Frankly, we absolutely love making videos here. We're nearing 600,000 subscribers and love producing content, but this is detrimental to us.

Again, if you would please amplify this to YouTube Support over on twitter/X, we would be very grateful. Please let them know it's important, but please do so respectfully. We're hoping that a proper review can clear this up.
