By the way, for those that don't know, I'm trying out a new method of video where I cut down and compress a lot more of the raw footage. My hope is that it makes the content more digestible than simply chopping up and uploading hours of gameplay, at least for longer playthroughs like Baldur's Gate 3 that I'm currently doing.

The consequence, however, is that uploads will not be as fast because it requires much more time dedicated to editing and deciding what to cut out. Of course, you can still watch full uncut playthrough by catching me live on the weekends at noon Eastern time, or by finding the VODs in this playlist: www.youtube.com/playlist?list...

But let me know if it's a terrible idea! I barely know what I'm doing.

Just a small update, in case anyone's wondering where I disappeared to: I caught a cold and then got better, but I still had an annoying cough that wouldn't go away. So that's why I haven't been able to record/stream anything without hacking up my lungs into the microphone.

Hopefully, I get back to it soon though!

Just a heads up that I don't have any playthroughs to upload at the moment, but to fill in the gap, I'll probably make a few mini-guides about some obscure mechanics in Fear & Hunger since I'm currently still obsessed with that game.

Though it'll be a little different than usual, I'll most likely return to typical playthrough videos soon.

Hello! So, I've been wondering if I can get some feedback about my video process as I've uploaded the first edited content of my Youtube streams!

If you don't already know, ever since the beginning of this channel about 5 years ago, I've always livestreamed my playthroughs and then chopped them up before uploading them as videos (I mention this at the end of every game I finish). This channel was really for Twitch VODs and to advertise my Twitch channel.

But I've recently switched to streaming here on Youtube instead and I'm worried that this might be too redundant now that I do everything on a single platform. Nothing's changed in what I effectively do, but maybe you don't want to see the same playthrough to appear twice in your subscription page?

My reasoning is that editing the streams make it easier to search for them in the algorithm and it's much more digestible in smaller chunks than a 4 to 5 hour long stream which is important for reaching new viewers. Other content creators I respect (AKA people who are way cooler than me and probably don't know who I am) such as ‪@Northernlion‬ and ‪@supergreatfriend‬ essentially do something similar, so I don't think it's crazy.

Maybe I should unlist the streams after I'm done, so you don't see them? I'm not entirely sure how to handle this issue, so please let me know your thoughts! I'm still trying to figure it out.

Yo! Lately, I've been thinking about live streaming on YouTube instead of Twitch since I already have an audience here and everything, especially since Twitch doesn't allow you to stream to both platforms simultaneously.

But I've always felt that this website is more about videos than live streams, so would anyone even be interested in that sort of thing?
