Conductor, teacher and scholar of successful cross-disciplinary projects and seminars, equally comfortable with traditional, sacred, choral or symphonic repertoire Mr. Mihaylov is experienced in both performing, and coaching. He regularly gives masterclasses for major universities including Harvard University, Université Paris 8, Conservatoire de Strasbourg, and Chengdu School of Culture & Art in China. He has recorded for BBC Radio 3, Мezzo TV, Еdiciones Singulares, Brilliant Classics and Naïve labels.
Highlights of Mr. Mihaylov’s creative activities include appearances to a critical acclaim in Europe, Asia, North America at many of the world's great festivals .
Born in Sofia, Ilia Mihaylov was educated at the Juilliard School in New York, UK’s ABRSM, HEMU Lausanne and Geneva Conservatory.
