I tried out a different format on my last video. Which do you enjoy more, a condensed version of my conversation with filmmakers paired with b-roll (see video below) or the full-length conversation with minimal edits?
You guys! I screened my short film “Desert Trip” yesterday to friends, family and those that wanted to see it. I also showed off a bunch of the behind the scenes work that went into it as well as announced my next film - all things soon to come on this channel! It was an amazing and rewarding experience and I feel so grateful.
From the man who brought you "Vivarium", comes "The Surfer". Check out this episode to hear Lorcan Finnegan's amazing stories of shooting a film with Nicolas Cage in Australia.
Have you watched this episode yet? We discussed a lot of fascinating filmmaking techniques in this episode that allowed Timothy to turn a soundstage into an apartment and then the apartment into a black void!
I know those of you that watched my episode with Jane Wu already know she’s amazing but check this out. I asked her if she had any extra prints that I could buy from her and asked if she would be willing to sign it. She instead gifted me a 16x24 limited edition crew poster. The original was hand painted and drawn by her and the leads. She left an awesome quote from the show and signed it. What an amazing gift 🥹
I’ll be covering this film very soon on Psycho-Cinematic. If you’re interested in watching it before watching my video, you can find it on Amazon Prime. I watched it once and am going to watch it again. It feels like there may be even more for me to unpack!
