Finally got past Steam and downloaded the game, THREE HOURS later

oh and in terms of musical stuff, have you noticed that motif in the title theme? the one that sounds like the first four notes of the dies irae, repeated in a downwards sequence. you'll notice it everywhere. it's in several of the music tracks, lace is humming it, even the big bell over one of the benches sounds it out loudly when you trigger it

SILKSONG TOMORROW

As for what I'm doing in the next few weeks, I'll be doing a few Silksong arrangements but Undertale's tenth anniversary is on the 15th and that's more important tbh. I like Hollow Knight but Undertale has a special place in my heart.

What I wouldn't give to see a prequel to Hollow Knight, set in the City of Tears, in the heart of Hallownest before its fall...

I've had this general idea for months now. I want to see more of Hallownest in its zenith, the Great Knights before they disbanded, the Dreamers before they were Dreamers, when Herrah was Deepnest's queen, Monomon was the city's archivist, Lurien was... what? An aristocrat, I suppose, an artist and philosopher? Did they have their little matching masks and cloaks back then? Surely not. Monomon's a jellyfish and Herrah's a spider but we never even get to see what sort of creature Lurien is under that mask. We know plenty about Ogrim and Isma and Ze'mer as well but almost nothing about Dryya or Hegemol. I love Hegemol, wish he got more in the game. I want more Quirrel and Sly and Soul Master and maybe even baby Hornet towards the end depending on the timeframe, if it's during the infection's initial appearance rather than before everything. Actually, how on earth did that whole dalliance thing work? Don't spiders lay like thousands of eggs at once? I wonder what happened to all the other tiny Hornets...

I suppose perhaps this stuff is best left to imagination. (Although if anyone wants to make something like that as a fangame... please let me make the music... I can also code... please...)

Just sat down and completed White Palace from start to finish in two hours. Absolute torture, 0/10, would not recommend, though to be fair it wasn't as impossible as I had expected

Change of plan, all Deltarune projects are postponed for at least a month while I arrange Hollow Knight music and try to at least get the first ending before Silksong comes out. (I beat Uumuu last night on my first try! Two Dreamers down, now only the Watcher Knights and the Hollow Knight are left)

Just finished tidying up the score for the GUARDIAN SUITE but I'm not sure how I ought to release it? I'm tempted to just put it out there for free but I feel like I probably ought to charge for it. Anyway I'll make a video announcing it when I do release it in whatever way

I've got a couple bigger Undertale/Deltarune-related ideas in the works but can't decide between them, which one do you guys think I should do first?
