Hey y'all! Nevan here. Been a while, hasn't it? Many of you have noticed I've been rather absent over the past year - although if we're being honest, make that two years - and any time I get a supportive comment on one of my videos or notice an uptick in views, I tend to feel guilty. It sorta feels like I'm being supported for sitting around and doing nothing, ya know?

So rather than give the usual YouTuber apology, I'ma take this time to explain what's been going on with me. I've been having a creative identity crisis of sorts, not entirely sure what I want to be uploading to my channel. Music is certainly a passion of mine, but I find myself lacking the ability to produce on-command. Because of this, I've been toying with the idea of taking my channel in a new direction; I've been somewhat procrastinating in making this announcement because I haven't really been entirely sure what direction that is quite yet, but I'm almost certain at this point that I want to pursue a pathway of photography/filmmaking. To be clear, I am not abandoning music. I consider music one of my driving forces in life so I don't think it'd even be possible to give it up entirely, and I'll definitely find ways to interweave it with my other work. Perhaps I could go out on a photography exhibition to take photos, compose a song based on how those photos make me feel and use them as a slide-show backdrop to music? Maybe I could start a live-action web series, and compose the soundtrack for it? I take photos all the time, but virtually nobody sees them apart from close friends, so maybe I could find an outlet for that?

I have massive passion in several creative fields, but haven't quite figured out where I'm most comfortable just yet. If reading any of this inspires you to comment an idea for content, please do! I'm reading all of my comments, even if I don't reply. But for now, consider this me breaking the silence. I wanna be more talkative with you guys! After all, what's a community without communication?
