YouTube just rolled out Auto Dubbing on my videos — and it's kind of wild.
Here’s the deal: an AI voice can now translate my videos into other languages, so people who don’t speak English can follow along too. Sounds cool, right?
BUT... there’s a catch.
When I tried it myself (on Spanish to English videos), it sounded super robotic and, honestly, kind of sucked the soul out of the storytelling. The voice lacks emotion, and the poetic vibe of the original gets a bit lost in translation.
Now here's where you come in:
Should I leave Auto Dubbing on, or turn it off?
About 40% of you are from non-English speaking countries, and I really want to know:
Would AI-dubbed translations help you enjoy the videos more?
Or would the weird, robotic voice ruin the experience?
This could help more people discover and enjoy the channel — but not if it messes with the vibe.
