Fingerprints turns 19 today. This record was one I’d waiting a long time to make, an all-instrumental album where I could let the guitar do the talking. Creating it with so many incredible musicians was a true joy, and I’ll always be grateful it went on to win the Grammy. Thank you for listening and keeping its spirit alive.
I’m honored to be part of the new public television series The Art of Music, premiering September 6 on stations nationwide, on the PBS app, and at The Art of Music website. Filmed at The Met in New York City, I sat down with my friend Warren Haynes to talk about my musical journey and share some songs you may know.
Performing and reflecting on my career in such a historic and artistic space was truly special. I hope you’ll tune in and enjoy this intimate evening of music and conversation as much as I did.
Excited to announce new dates added to the Let’s Do It Again! tour!
Pre-sale begins tomorrow, July 16th at 10AM local. General on-sale is Friday, July 18th at 10am local. Let’s continue making amazing memories together.
Hummingbird In A Box turns 10 today. This project was inspired by the Cincinnati Ballet—seven songs written to move with the dancers. It was a new kind of challenge, and one I’ll always be proud of. Thanks for listening all these years.
46 years ago, Where I Should Be marked a new chapter for me. I was trying to find balance again, both in music and life. These songs hold a lot of memories — and if they’ve become part of yours too, I’m truly grateful.
I’m In You turns 48 today. This album came after a whirlwind in my life — the title track especially was one of my most personal. I’m still so thankful it found its way to so many hearts. Thank you for keeping it alive all these years.
Hard to believe it’s been 44 years since Breaking All the Rules came out. This one came out swinging—I was feeling the need to push the boundaries and have some fun doing it. Thanks for rocking with me, then and now.
What an honor and pleasure sharing the stage with @pearljam last night. Eddie’s introduction bringing me out was extremely moving. Thank you Eddie, Mike, Matt, Jeff, Stone, Josh, Boom, the entire crew and all the amazing Nashville fans!
Hard to believe it’s already been four years since Frampton Forgets the Words came out. This instrumental album meant the world to me—a way to let my guitar do all the talking, covering songs by some of my heroes and dear friends. Thanks for listening then, and now!
