I finished that damn thesis, I can't explain the relief I feel right now... I feel so free, so calm, a work of a year is finally done and I can get back at my stuff..

I was listening to Space Invaders for no GD-related reason in particular and while I was imagining something for no GD-related reason in particular I remembered something from my Space Invaders level in the GDPS: I made it so that when you turned on LDM the Space Invaders aliens would become invisible (they were ambient deco), but then I remembered that two of them attacked you in the second wave section, meaning that many people who played with LDM died to invisible hitboxes on that part lmfao, idk why I never fixed it

Been having a REALLY BAD time finishing a thesis and I hate how this took so much time away in which I could've done progress on my entry...

I really hope I can finish on time or that by any miracle the gauntlet's deadline gets delayed

Not-daily update of my Random Gauntlet Contest Entry: the level has reached 62 seconds of lenght, and the gameplay of the first "route" of the first drop of the song is already done, I'll do my best to finish the gameplay of the second "route" and showcase the drop as a "preview 1.5" :D

The level is already 52 seconds long, I make progress pretty fast with the gameplay :D

My plan to finish this level before the Gauntlet Contest's deadline is the following: during my free times in which the circunstances allow me to play GD I'll work on the level (I'm planning to finish the gameplay and the dice guy's sprites and animations in 3 weeks and use the rest of time for the deco), and during my free times in which I can't play GD I'll draw the deco and more ideas in my phone so that when I need to decorate the level I already know what to do and how.

I kind of wanna give up my Random Gauntlet Contest Entry, not because I'm lazy or unmotivated but because the new event level is pretty much what I was gonna do, except that one's better executed and with a quality million of times better than what i could do in the next 2 months.

Basically I feel like people will think my level is a cheap copy
