Major change to the channel!

Because I will be teaching 11 & 12 year olds this year, in about ten minutes -- I am going into YouTube Studio and privating A LOT of videos. Any content PG-13 and above will be going, and there will be none moving forward. The the unpalatable, irreverent little lady you've come to know and love these last four years will, finally, chill out.

I'm hoping my persona won't change too much, but moving forward, expect more Pixar type humor and less Bridesmaids.

You've likely noticed my lack of content in the past month. Here's why:
I might have breast cancer.

On June 9th, I noticed a lump in my right breast. I made an appointment with my doctor and was seen by her nurse practitioner. She felt the lump and referred me for imaging, which I had done today. Results weren't conclusive, but they were encouraging.

Due to my car wreck last year, and the seatbelt that saved my life (wear one!), my right breast has a considerable amount of trauma which made deciphering all the "spots" on the mammogram difficult. Some spots were seen that the doctor is certain aren't cancerous, but she was not able to properly see the other spots and the "problem lump."

What encourages me is that we're waiting for the trauma to heal further. When this kind of soft tissue experiences trauma, it can take years to heal. I am telling myself that if the doctor is willing to put off seeing me for sixth months, whatever spots we've noticed are either noncancerous or "very small cancers." I was told to not lose sleep over it. I won't.

That being said, my chest and ribs are very sore from being poked and prodded at for hours. The ultrasound was particularly painful, not the mammogram surprisingly, but you can expect somewhat of a lull in content as we sort through all this. My parents and brother are currently living with me, and it's a real comfort to have them here.

Finally moving out of this awful town that practically ruined my life. If you’re wondering, the town is Bonham, TX. Numerous violations of church and state, robbing teachers of entitled planning time and stalking teachers to their apartment and online are things we don’t put up with in Dallas.
