"Soul of a Moth"

Astral sobbed as he floated into the dark room, which was nonlit. There was a mirror in the middle. Astral went up to it and looked at his reflection. His eye, his neck, and body, were all wrong. He sat on the floor looking drained and dead on the floor. He pulled his tail close to his eye, leaning into it to muffle his sobs. "Oh why... Why do I have to be this way..?" He cried as he felt a tiny prick on his arm. Was it... A razor blade?

He grabbed it, pressing it close to his skin.. Until...

It had been a few hours. The warm blood trickled down his forearm as he cutted himself with the blade. It felt... warm. And..kind of nice? It was painful, but he pushed through. He continued until he was done.

He put the blade down, sat up, wiped his tears with his injured arm, floating towards the bathroom, and cleant the wounds. He looked at himself in the bathroom mirror, the dark circle under his eye looking darker than usual. "I just wanna be normal again.." He thought to himself as he washed his cuts with the soap and water. The warm water stung alot. But it was the only way he knew how to clean cuts\gashes.

He floated over to the attic, the room still dim with no light source except for the broken Christmas lights. He fell asleep in his hammock.

The stinging wouldn't stop. He tried and tried to go to sleep. He even took some melatonin.

But the crow would soon start to feel other things than stinging.
