I've been busy writing a String Quartet because I felt the world could use more of them. Three movements (not sure yet if there will be a fourth). Stay tuned 🙂
On May 19th, my "Suite of Sweets" for string orchestra, a fun 30 minute piece divided in two parts, will be premiered by the Bluestone Ensemble of Melbourne, Australia, conducted by Misha Machlak. There will even be desserts available for purchase at the show!
Another magnificent piece of music by ‪@paulalcazar‬ featured on the excellent‪@VforVirtualOrchestra‬ channel. Some lush orchestration that reminds me of Ravel's Daphnes et Chloe -- put on your headphones and have a listen!
So it seems my Arabian Dance has gotten a lot of views (more than all my other videos combined I think!), and with it 32 new subscribers. That's a lot for my little channel! Please introduce yourselves if you like, and let me know what sort of music you like to listen to. Maybe it will inspire the next composition...
If you're ringing in the new year on the east coast of the United states, and are looking for something different to watch than a ball dropping, I welcome you to join me by watching the YouTube premiere of the orchestral version of my second Satie-inspired Gnossienne.

If you will be in Melbourne at that time, here's the link for tickets: www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1212011
If not, there will be a recording of the concert - stay tuned!
