Brandon Smith grew up in Roswell, GA playing baseball. He was drafted out of high school by the Oakland A's. After 3 seasons in their minor league system, Brandon played in China and the Philippines. When he returned he played 2 more seasons in the Mets minor league system making it to AAA Norfolk. His final season was with the Richmond Roosters of the Frontier League.
Once his playing career was over, Brandon earned his degree from Kennesaw State University in Exercise Health Science.
During the off season Brandon worked as a baseball instructor at several different facilities in Atlanta and Kansas City. He opened his own facility in 1999 and has been doing lessons, camps and clinics ever since.
