FAQ: As long as credit is given, you are free to use my remixes in your videos. I use FL Studio. I'm not doing commissions currently. I also don't do requests.
2024 is coming to a close with 21 remixes (most I've uploaded in a year since 2019) so I decided to take a look at what I've cooked up this year, rank each song and share some interesting info/stories about them.
S-tier:
Kalos Power Plant was the first song I finished in six months. It's one of my best songs ever, imo. It has a great flow and while it's not overly flashy, it has that wonky middle part that really makes it stand out. I really like the soundscape of the song too. It's a perfect balance of classic and new Mewmore.
Battle! Galactic Boss Cyrus was uploaded only week ago but I actually started working on it way back in May. I originally worked it up to three minutes or so before getting completely stuck (happens much more often that I'd like to admit). The rest of the song was cooked up on December after uploading Cynthia. Although working on it was rough, I really enjoy the end result. I'm a big fan of progressive rock/metal and creating wonky riffs, drum patterns and odd time signature changes has always been something I've found fun. It also has parts of Sky Pillar/Battle! Dialga/Palkia and Battle! Giratina in it.
GSC Surf is as classic as it gets when it comes to my usual style, though I like to think that it has some new nuances in it. The drop has much more groove than usually. I'm fond of the lead work in this, especially the organ which I kind of started to overuse later.
A-tier:
Night in Aspertia represents that new-ish style along Kalos Power Plant: airy pads, not-on-your-face drums and overall a futuristic soundscape. The song is in minor key instead of major which gives it a bit more serious atmosphere. I really like the fact that I didn't go too overboard with soloing. Overall a very strong track.
Pewter City was the first song I finished for the Christmas project sometime in November. It has a really nostalgic vibe and I think in terms of atmosphere it might be my second best after KPP. However, the drums are a bit too tacky and the organ was left on a bit too low on volume, hence A.
Team Aqua/Magma Hideout was a classic already when I was working on it. It combines my two favorite genres, jazz and house, and is a really solid track all around with some of the best soloing I've done. Definitely the kind of music I want to do more in the future. I think this is the only song I started and finished on the same day.
Battle! Nemona is as classic as it gets, even more than GSC Surf. Though I've started to sway away from this style recently (I've kinda grown tired of it) I think every year needs at least one song like this. I think this song is one of the jewels of its style in every aspect (arrangement, mixing), though I think the drops are maybe a bit too overboard with the basses.
Distortion World was the first song I started when I came back home and the first one I finished on my main PC. I don't really have anything much to say about it; it's a very solid track with a great groove, and a complete opposite to the piano arrangement I made a few years ago. It could rank over Nemona if the lead playing Giratina's motif was a bit better.
B-tier:
Route 111 was a song I started around summer but never continued after the first melody sequence. I knew it had potential though so during December I decided to look back onto it and finish it. I had a good workflow for once and it was finished in one day after that. Overall a solid track but I think it could be much better if I had more time to work on it.
Battle! Champion Cynthia came as a bit of surprise. I was just playing around on, trying to wonder which song worked on the chord progression I had came up with and Cynthia's battle theme just kind of sneaked its way in. I think it was mixed well and it has a good flow and groove, but it could be much better with some more work time, hence B.
Join Avenue is a song I have some mixed thoughts about. I think it's solid and is fun to listen. On the other hand the bass is something I would change in hindsight and it never really gets anywhere. Out of this type of songs, Team Aqua/Magma Hideout is definitely superior. For once I remixed something from BW, though.
Burned Tower had so much more potential in it for me. It's a solid song but I never really liked the lead I chose and the drums are also on the meh-ish side. It has a great groove though, I really cooked with that bass.
GSC Viridian Forest is sort of a lo-fi(?) track. I'm gonna be honest with you, I never listen to lo-fi and I don't really enjoy making it either. I remember working on this song was pretty fun though but otherwise I don't really have very strong feelings about it. Though I like the soundscape, I think it'd rank higher with a better lead.
Levincia was a song I was very fond of when I finished it but eventually my feelings started to erode. It's a pretty fun eurodance song but that's all that it is. It's not a bad song but doesn't shine or has nothing in comparison of the tracks ranked before it.
C-tier:
Cerulean City is a VIP version of a song I uploaded 11 years ago (wow). I think it proves how far I've become since then. Now that I think of it, I might have ranked this song a bit lower than it deserves. I'm too lazy to make a new picture though. Oh well. The horns could have a bit more attack in them though, they feel a bit lazy now. Hah, take that Cerulean City. Also, Cerulean City has two Cs in it already so it's only natural to rank it in C. Now I'm coping.
Snowbelle City is a pretty song that deserves to be ranked higher. I just wish I had more time to work on it. Now I feel I had to upload it as a bit incomplete version. The accordion and viola are kind of all over the place and the solos could have a bit more thought in them.
Inside the Ruins of Alph is very repetitive. The bass never strays from playing C. It could have some better choices regarding the sound design too, though I was working with a bit more limited selection of plugins. I think it builds up really nicely, though, and pretty much turned out the way I wanted. I just rank it in C because I never listen to it.
Night in Cascarrafa was the "original" Cascarrafa remix I had before I eventually scrapped it and created the first (and the definitive) one. This song is not bad, really, but it just kinda exists. I have no strong opinion about it, hence C-rank.
Lugia's Song in C-rank is definitely something a lot of people probably didn't expect. I just think this song really doesn't deserve a higher ranking. It was made beforehand the Christmas Project and was solely uploaded first because I thought the others I had finished at that point (NIA, Levincia, Pewter) were just miles better. I guess I just don't really see the beauty in it like the others do. It's nowhere near the worst song I've made, but in comparison to other songs, it comes up with bare fists to a firearm fight (and this song is not Kiryu Kazuma, though I wish it was).
Area Zero Underdepths was finished in one day. I think that's its problem. The lead is kinda nowhere to be heard and the kick is too overpowering. In other words: it needed more time. But Christmas Project was all about creating songs with a limited time used on them and this song just turned in as a victim of it. It's not really that bad but I personally can hear the fatigue I was going through with this project. Sometimes working on a song fast works out (TAMH) and sometimes it doesn't. It's not that deep. It's not the end of the world. I'm happy that many found the song enjoyable.
D-tier:
Battle! Ultra Beast is a song that I wouldn't upload on the channel in hindsight. It's one of those experiments that I wanted to work but never did. The soundscape is pretty distressing which was what I went for, but otherwise it's kind of a mess. There's many things I've done otherwise and many things that I'd want to fix now that I listen to it. I solely uploaded it because I used so much time in it and didn't want it to go to waste. I'm genially glad that some of you liked it, though!
Thank you for reading all of this, if you did. I hope you found some of that information and my thoughts about the songs interesting.
I wish you all a great 2025! I have big plans for it and I'll make sure that it'll be the best year of Mewmore so far. Take care! :)
Sorry everyone! No new remix today. I've been pretty busy the past few days and thought I could finish the song today but it was a bit wishful thinking.
I will upload today's song tomorrow and still plan to upload two other songs this week, so nothing has changed on that part.
I have a good reason for being busy: I was building a new PC and after a few days of trouble it's finally working like a dream. It's stronger, more beautiful and also has a lot more storage space so I can finally install a lot of plugins I've had lying around. Can't wait to see what I can cook up with them!
Today marks 10 years since I created this channel. I want to express my thanks to you all. Because of you and your endless support for my music I've managed to continue making music this long. What started as a mere hobby has turned into something I'm the most proud of in my whole life. Sure it has been hard time to time and I'm prone to suffer from artist blocks (even now) but each time I've come back you've showered me with amazing support and comments that always make my day.
I also want to inform you that I am planning to upload some of my music on Spotify. I'm not quite sure about the schedule but I'm planning to do this around the end of the summer. I'm currently thinking of which songs I want to upload as there is quite a drastic difference in quality between my older and newer stuff and if possible, I want to diminish those quality gaps at least somewhat by remaking some of my older songs. I know a lot of you have been hoping me to upload my music on Spotify and I feel that it's finally time to do so, taken that I've already worked on this project for 10 years.
As for new music, I'm currently working on some new songs. Truth to be told, I've only been playing Tears of the Kingdom as of late but I finally managed to beat it. Please look forward to some TOTK remixes once I finally manage to wriggle myself out of my creative block.
100,000 subscribers. It still has felt unreal for some time but now I got something concrete to let it really sink in. Thank you so much for subscribing, you all made this possible! We’ll keep pushing!

First of all, thank you very much for the support during last year. I may have not been the most active but you’ve still listened to my songs in a growing manner. For that I am very thankful.
New year means also new things for the channel. I am eager to remix from series I’ve never remixed songs from before (e.g. ACNH, Stardew Valley) but I also want to inform that there is probably coming a change regarding the main focus of the channel, away from Pokémon. I don’t want to talk about it too much yet since nothing is sure but I feel like at this point it is both necessary and I wanted to let you know in case you start wondering. I will still remix mainly Nintendo stuff though, don’t worry!
Have a great start of a year everyone! I’ll be back remixing this month! :)
