So, I'm doing a thing...

Over the Thanksgiving weekend I'll be contributing to THE HOME SHOW, an immersive theater experience with different vignettes focusing on the many different things that "home" can mean.

I got to write my own piece, focusing on how creativity and queerness come together to help me feel a sense of home in a variety of places, including this virtual space that we all share on YouTube!

The piece is written to be like a simulation of one of my livestreams. A few of our community members get "cameo" shout outs in the imagined chat, and I'm still working out the details, but I might even be able to livestream one of the performances so that you can see the monologue live as it's happening!

Here is my look from last night. I was torn on whether to do a brown lip or a red lip, so of course I did both!

I wore the brown lip to the episode. It was a combo of the two liquid lipsticks from the latest Cosmic Beauty release topped with a metallic gloss from the Blend Bunny Masterclass collection.

Then, in the live, we took it off and did the red lip combo from the Melt Cosmetics It: Welcome to Derry Collection.

On Monday, Angie and I worked on organizing my costume and prop storage space...here's a peek at some of the goodies that I have tucked away for shows and photo shoots. I also got my photo lightbox set up and took some pictures of the new pastel foundations from Glisten Cosmetics and the Queen Pin collection from Trixie Cosmetics!

I got this super fun Cruella DeVil costume from HalloweenCostumes.com and the coat is absolutely fabulous! The dress is...fine. lol

I decided to add AB rhinestones to the dress in abstract clusters - I'm hoping it will look sort of like a reverse dalmatian print! This is how far I got while I was watching the live on @dionluvsmakeup channel. Eventually I want to have the whole front panel covered, so it will be a while before this diva is show ready.

I might also add a couple of layers of long fringe to the bottom if I do that, should I do black, red, or both? Thoughts?

I forgot to take pictures until after the shoot, so the lip is a little worse for wear, but here is look number two from yesterday's shoot - Professor Plum! The eyes are Bitten from Gourmande Girl!

We also did a few shots in my newly stoned skeleton dress, so I got some selfies in natural light as well!

I've got my last CLUE shoot booked for this Sunday and I can't wait! We are knocking out the final two characters: Professor Plum and Mrs. Peacock! I can't wait to show off the full range! Assuming that all the edits can be done on time, this will be the theme for the 2026 calendar! I'll make sure to share that announcement from my website over here!

And just for fun: which classic clue weapons do you think Mrs. Peacock and Professor Plum will be using for their dastardly deeds in the shoot? Here's a hint: Miss Scarlet has already claimed the candlestick!
