Naaz
Naaz is a Kurdish independent artist, singer, and director from the Netherlands. Growing up in a refugee household, she found escape in writing songs from a young age, many of which are now tattooed on her body as symbols of her freedom. Teaching herself to write, produce, and compose, she created her first project, Bits of Naaz, in her childhood bedroom.
She’s toured Europe four times with her unique blend of English and Kurdish music, earning praise from icons like Elton John and Lana Del Rey. Despite facing industry challenges as a Middle Eastern woman, Naaz returned stronger, writing in her mother tongue and winning awards for both her music and self-directed visuals.
