Hey guys! It’s been a solid minute since I posted a video. I have one basically done, so that should come out super soon. I now work full time, which limits my filming time a lot, especially in the winter months when there’s so little daylight. A then, to top it off, my computer that I edit on is broken so it can’t open all the way or the screen goes black, so I have to hunch over like a gremlin to see what I’m doing 😂. Anywho, I have a new computer on its way (woo-hoo, I’ve never had a new computer before!), and the daylight hours are steadily increasing. Hopefully videos will be more frequent again soon!

For anyone wondering when my next video is coming, please know that I’m working on it. It’s been a big adjustment having a puppy to take care of, and my September is also going to be quite busy. But I’m almost finished filming a sewing video, and I hope to have that out in a week or so. Thank you for your patience, and I really appreciate your support and love for my videos! Hey everyone! I have a few videos in the works, and I had a short one to post in the mean time. But there were some footage issues because I live in Canada... where it starts being dim in the middle of the day in winter. Basically, I turned myself into a Who from Whoville with some fun hair and makeup, but most of the footage had the shutter flashing like crazy and it’s super distracting. That happens when it’s too dark for the camera. So the video is scrapped, but here’s the final look so you can still see a bit of the wild Christmas-ness! You can’t see the fun stuff happening on the sides and back of the hair, but it’s still pretty cute... I’ll see you soon with some hopefully more successful videos! Have a very vintage day!

Listening to my own cover again is always a little tricky 😂. I really wish I had an actual orchestra accompaniment because my GarageBand attempt hurts a tad lol. I would definitely add some cello, of just something to give a stronger baseline if I were to do this song again. I will say that I do actually like my singing in this cover though. I’ll definitely try playing my actual ukulele for future covers, cause a real instrument would really help it sound more authentic. Any song suggestions for the coming months?

It’s been a little while since I posted a video. I have one in the works, but things have been weird around here lately. Both of my parents have the illness that shall not be named, so I’ll probably get it soon. I’m currently working on some listings for my Etsy shop like some embroidered hair bows and curated boxes. I’m having a bit of trouble filming videos right now because the weather is so gloomy that I need to turn a lamp on in the middle of the day. Absolutely tragic lighting for filming. There are a few videos I really want to make but it’ll be a bit tricky while I adjust to the new season. I’ll have to start filming earlier to get the most out of the dim light that there is. Videos will hopefully come soon! I appreciate your patience!

Tomorrow (October 18th) at noon, another song cover will come out on this channel! I won't normally do two covers in a row like this, but this song is a Halloween song, so I wanted to get it out during October so people would still have time to enjoy it for the spooky season. Don't worry, the sewing and fashion content is on its way!
Now just so I know, how do you guys feel about vintage style song covers on this channel? Do you enjoy them?
