Jadriel is a fisher from St. Croix, Virgin Islands who loves to fish. His grandfather sparked what would turn out to be a passion for fishing when he showed him how to cast a 3ft net when he was just 6 yrs old. Practicing at the lagoon, he mastered casting the 3ft net then moved on to casting a 4ft, 6ft, 8ft, 9ft and now casting a 10ft net. Occasionally, he casts a 12ft. He also fishes with rods, spools, Hawaiian slings and spear guns (with supervision). He sets up/fixes his own fishing lines and rods with hooks and sinkers or lures. The best part is that he cleans and cooks his fish.
Jadriel has caught mahi, mutton, yellowtail, and mangrove snappers, gars, silvers, blue runners, bonefish, chopa (seabream), pompano, shellfish, grunts, groupers, flounders, yellow and horse eye jacks, wenchman, puffers, ballyhoos, sardines, eels, shark, shrimp, croakers, goatfish, octopus (line and net), porcupine fish/tarpon (3) (catch & release), mullet, lionfish, and trigger fish.
