The cubs are a fucking mess. For starters the bullpen has been either horrendous or injured for about a month we thought that mark leiter jr was the best reliever in baseball and then he fell off a cliff we don’t have anybody that can throw hard and when we put our veteran reliever to close a game he walks bases loaded to lose it and Jed Hoyer doesn’t have the balls to call up our top prospect that’s making minor leaguers look as stupid as he is. The offense couldn’t be worse seiya Suzuki pops out with runners on the corners nobody out and not even 30 seconds later is smiling in the dugout the core of our lineup is just guessing on every pitch possible for two seconds it looks like Christopher Morel genuinely has a good eye just for him to watch a 3-2 fastball down the middle and you realize he was just guessing and seiya Suzuki gives the pitcher a first pitch strike down the middle every at bat and swings at a slider in the dirt on the second pitch. Tomas Nido left 7 men on base Monday night we should have won that game 8-2. For everybody that read all of that thank you
