Creating space. Breaking contact. Redirecting attention. Buying time.
Preparedness isn’t always about escalation; sometimes it’s about movement, exit routes, communication, and using your environment to your advantage. Light, sound, positioning, barriers, timing. Strategy matters.
Layered defense > single-option thinking.
