This is the (Part-2) Chhabildas English medium high School, Chhabildas Road & Akshikar Road, Dadar West, Mumbai.

This is a bonus video.

We continue from the previous part, the back entrance is the building has a similar stepped design as the front end.

There is also a Marathi medium school adjacent to the english medium school building.

The main purpose of this video is to show the art work dedicated to the famous personalities of India.

It is important to inspire the young generation to follow their heart and recognise their talents by pursuing extra curricular activities with academics.

The stressful environment of exams and academics burden and hamper the development of children today, i hope our students prosper and excel in their respective fields.

This beautiful old school architecture is the Commonwealth building, Madame Cama Road, Nariman Point, South Mumbai.

Have a look at the extruded balconies with the extended window chajjas, the rounded balconies on both sides are sublime and add finesse to the design.

The sleek grill design is classy as well.

Very limited information is available about the building on the internet but it looks like it was built in the 1930's - 1940's era just like the other art deco architectures in and around the area.

On the left hand side one can see modifications done to the balconies with the fitment of aluminium window frames, luckily they do not look shabby as their design follows the curve of the balcony.

I have attached the link to the old short of the iconic L.I.C building adjacent to this building, do check it as well.

Wonderful old school architecture indeed!
