Moreno was a Chicago Post-Rock band active from 1995 to 2001 releasing one album in 2000 under their own Simian record label. They were a staple in the late 90's Chicago rock scene, sharing the stage with Dinosaur Jr, Fallout Boy, Alkaline Trio, Chevelle, Smoking Popes, Local H & Triple Fast Action among many others. Often compared to bands such as Hum, Failure and Shiner, they were known for their big spacey guitars and beefy drums. They performed a reunion show in 2015 at the Bottom Lounge in Chicago. Members included Sean Hulet (Vocals/Guitars), Christopher Jasinski (Guitars), Scott Rosenquist (Drums), Mike Schieber (Bass), Kevin Rosenquist (Bass). Sean Hulet is currently playing with the re-formed LOTEC and Drummer Scott Rosenquist is currently in the LA Post-Metal band Dawn Fades.
