Koné is a 25-year-old artist, musician, and producer from Leuven, Belgium. He developed a passion for percussion instruments at an early age and started playing on a ceramic darbuka his parents brought back from Tunisia when he was six years old. After being selected by Studio Brussel he shared his handpan sounds on Pukkelpop 2024. Recently he was chosen by Koen & Kris in a Radio 2 show to open the Belgian Sportpaleis for Clouseau for their 40th anniversary shows together with his good friends Luca Lawrence and Bordoo. Koné is ready to share the sounds of this beautiful instrument with the world.
His solo project features traditional percussion instruments from around the world, with the handpan taking centre stage. Recently Koné had some major changes happening in his life: he finished his studies, decided to commit himself to music full-time, built a recording studio in a van and is now travelling around Europe sharing his music.
