The Geologian - Joshua Woodard
All of my life, I have struggled with questions about the Bible and science. It's hard not to hear the barrage of challenges from skeptics. Is God actually a violent, evil, sexist beast as many claim? Does science really prove the Bible is wrong and God doesn't exist? I needed answers. My entire college career was dedicated to finding these. They weren't easy to come by. Classroom settings, even at Christian universities, can often be a place of one-sided arguments and even ridicule. I had to learn how to personally go find resources that would give me both sides of each issue and decide for myself what made sense.
I know you have some of these same questions. The Old Testament contains stories of talking donkeys and supermen whose only weakness is cutting their hair. Modern scientific thought states that the universe started from nothing.
